About Us

From the smallest domestic call-out to a large, high-tech commercial solar energy installation, Barri Davies Electrical Ltd has been serving the communities of South West Wales since 2001

Barri Davies, an electrician with 25 years' experience, was born and bred in Llandysul and started the company in 2001. Central to the success of this small local business is Barri’s belief that the customer, whether regular or new, is the most important person in the working day and the smallest job is as important as the largest.

This belief has seen the company grow from a one-man band to Barri employing 4 fully qualified electricians and 2 apprentices, as well as office staff.

Testimonials

We are very pleased with all the work Barri and his team have carried out. The work is done to an excellent standard. We run a caravan park and it is very important that when we have an electrical problem on our park, we have a team of electricians that we can call upon that are reliable to come and fix the problem for us immediately. Barri and his team have never let us down.

Sheila & Glyn Bright - Caerfelin Caravan Park, Aberporth

We have used Barri Davies Electrical for many years. They have supplied all of the lighting and electrical work in our Cardigan and Narberth shops. They are always courteous, professional and neat. We would have no hesitation in recommending Barri and his team to complete any of your electrical requirements.

Pritchard-Cowburn Opticians

For many years Barri Davies Electrical have looked after all our electrical needs at Hoffnant Stores, including a total rewiring prior to our shop re-fit. From small to large projects, Barri and his team has been there for us, giving an excellent service and are quick to respond to situations.

We contacted Barri Davies Electrical, reassured by their ad that the company was NICEIC (the regulatory body for electrical contractors) and Trust Mark (the government backed body) approved. Barri Davis came out when we had a power cut in the thirty minutes promised on the phone. He was professional – taking no time at all in getting to the cause of the failure – friendly, and willing to go that extra mile. And all at reasonable rates. We unreservedly recommend his firm.

We needed extractor fans fitted in our main bathroom and ensuite, together with a few LED spotlights. Barri provided a quick and efficient service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and use his services again.

We are very happy with the work completed by Barri Davies Electrical. From the whole lifecycle of the project Barri and his team provided an excellent service. They came up with some great suggestions and solutions to problems, in what was a very extensive, complete refurbishment. The service from start to finish was professional and thorough, the staff were very friendly and informative, giving full explanations of works being undertaken. All correspondence including the quotes, were clear and concise...the work was carried out with minimal mess and disruption. I am very happy to endorse all works carried out in our home, and will continue to use them, in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Barri Davies Electrical Ltd was the electrical subcontractor engaged for the redevelopment of the former Bethsaida Chapel and vestry in St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire. We have worked with Barri and his team since 2012, and we still refer to him for advice and guidance even though the principal works are finished. During the redevelopments, Barri and his team have been helpful and constructive. Barri spent considerable time working through the practicalities of the installation. This was as well as offering suggestions and advice for sourcing and installing feature lights and renovating VERY old fittings to be reinstated in the building. Many thanks all!

Jo and Tony Pitt, Bethsaida B&B, St Dogmaels.
